Responding to: Bill 13 Accepting Biased Schools Act.

Bill 13 is intended to change the traditional norms and values of society, including “correcting” traditional cultures and faiths that teach limits on sexual expression and activity.

The legislation uses three strategies to achieve this:

  1. Clubs that promote this message
  2. Curriculum that affirms sexual alternatives, all grades, all subjects
  3. Forcing faith groups, that rent school facilities, to operate using the Ontario code of ethics

Hamilton Parent Launches Law Suit Against School Board for Refusing to Inform About Sensitive Curriculum

Things are really beginning to heat up here in the province. The Hamilton School Board has been served with a law suit from a family that used our document to communicate their faith and were told they do not have the right to know when curriculum conflicts with their values. This is most unusual for Hamilton Board has accepted hundreds of these forms for more than 4 years, and has adopted a religious accommodation policy that includes accommodating for sensitive curriculum issues.

Toronto School Board Web Link Offers Kinky Sex Advice

It is interesting to note that the Board spokesperson stated, “To be clear, these links are not part of the curriculum or taught in the classroom. What is taught in the classroom is guided by the Ontario curriculum and OPHEA (Ontario Physical and Health Education Association).”
